Happy Lunar New Year, everyone! I finally replaced my lost memory card for my camera, so I’m able to do FOTD’s again! I thought it would be appropriate to do an Emerald FOTD since it’s the Pantone color of the year.

No matter how many new eyeshadows I get, I still find myself gravitating towards my myface blingtones. So easily blendable, so perfectly sparkly. I'm definitely going to get more shades. I was somewhat inspired by Anisha's latest FOTD: Kiss Don't Tell, so I kind of wanted to do a smokey look too.Read more »
This look was inspired by MAC’s Guilty Passions Cremesheen lip glass, Kiss Don’t Tell. Chrissy was nice enough to pass it on to me when she was here visiting and it resulted in love upon first swatch. If ever there were a perfect nude lip gloss for WOC, this is it. It’s amazingly pigmented and the most perfect accompaniment to my favorite nude lipstick of …Read more »
So, for my 26th birthday, I treated myself with a trip to Vegas, but at the last second I decided to extend my vacation and fly to San Francisco from Vegas to visit Anisha! I was so sick with a cold once I got there, but thankfully she keeps a small pharmacy in her apartment. Once I was feeling better I met up with Anisha at work and we went makeup shopping! I knew I definitely wanted to make a trip to INGLOT because I've never seen them outside of trade-shows like IMATS. The only place I know they have a counter is in the Macy's in San Francisco. I was able to purchase a five piece freedom system eyeshadow palette and a small angled brush for just $56! When we got back from the city, we started playing with our makeup. Anisha tried to film a tutorial for you all, but sadly her camera ran out of memory right in the middle of filming. Tragic! She ended up turning it into an FOTD which I hope she'll share with us sometime next week. I chose to create an FOTD with all the Inglot eyeshadows I bought.Read more »

I ended up keeping the eyes pretty subtle favoring shimmery, neutral shades and went all out on the lips. I ditched the traditional lip liner and carefully filled in my lips using a lip …Read more »
I was originally supposed to be a sexy sailor this halloween, but I spilled some food on my costume. So, I threw together a vampire look in about 20 minutes, consisting of my Charles David thigh-high boots, a dark red corset top that I just got from asos.com, and of course, some red and black makeup!
For my eyes, I used my Blingtone in and …Read more »
Can you believe that it’s literally been 3 months since I posted my last FOTD? I can’t …
I’ve been using make-up sparingly for the past few months since I’ve really been concentrating on perfecting my baby face!
In any case, I decided to have a cheat day today and do something glitzy and glamorous — shimmery eyeshadow, a red lip, and a soft cut …Read more »
