POTW: Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner
I bought this after some good words from Stela, and I’ve been extremely satisfied with it. I can be pretty picky about my eyeliner – usually I use black shadow with an small angled brush to get the results I want. I need an extremely tapered wing on the outer-corners of my eyes, and pencil liner doesn’t quite cut it. I’m not that big of a fan of liquid liner either, though most of that has to do with the applicator that most liquid liners come with.
Bobbi Brown’s Gel Eyeliner comes on like… for lack of a better term: grease. It comes on smoothly and most times I only need to slowly apply one layer of it to get the results I want. With other liners, I usually have to go back and forth on my eyelid to make sure I don’t miss any spots and that the thickness is consistent. With this gel eyeliner, I can apply it quickly in the morning without worrying about error.
Now my next concern was that the liner would smudge, seeing as how easily it came on. Well, not to worry folks! I’ve been wearing new colored contacts which irritate my eyes and sometimes makes them water, but even after an entire day of battling with my contacts, Bobbi’s gel eyeliner stayed exactly as it was in the morning with absolutely no smudging at all!

I’ve been wanting to try a gel liner for a while now but I’ve been hesitant to purchase one. I’m pretty convinced I’ll be buying this one after reading your review. Thanks!

The Laneige Multi-shaping Eyeliner Gel sucks! The gel in the container dries up after several uses. Then the whole thing becomes dry, flakey and unusable.

OK, this is a MUST buy! I’ve heard of it for awhile now and decided to get it to see what it is all about. It’s the BEST. I have similar problems as CP and this eyeliner is AMAZING. I don’t quite understand why it can look as good in the morning as it does at the end of the day. The best part is that it is EASY to removed at the end of the day! Most eyeliners that last all day (if they do at all) are nearly impossible to removed at the end of the day.

To Layla
Yeah, we should have more videos. I have been practicing a lot of eye makeup techniques and I should share. It just that I’m a lousy talker just as I am a lousy writer. I have been meaning to take pictures of step by step process. It does help if you get their brush though I think.

I told you to try this a while ago. I’ve been wearing this for a couple of years now. It lasts for a very long time. It is great.
