Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

While running the risk of making this blog appear to be a bit primer-centric, I absolutely HAVE to talk about Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion. I bought this the other day at ULTA in the original nude color after Anisha recommended it to me. I hadn’t had a great experience with MAC’s eyeshadow primer, surprisingly, and I know neither had Stela. So my interest was piqued, especially after Anisha’s great post advocating the use of primers as a makeup must-do.

It’s usually a bit hard for me to take a product seriously with such cheesy packaging. It’s cute and all, but as a designer I appreciate a more minimalistic look. Well, this eyeshadow primer is no joke. I immediately recognized that compared to MAC’s, this primer had a more tactile texture. This is great because the eyeshadow sticks to the primer more effectively, making the color pop and last you through the day.

I usually have a big problem with creasing, especially since my right eye actually has two creases, but I found that when using this “Primer Potion,” I didn’t experience any creasing at all! I recommend Urbay Decay’s eyeshadow Primer Potion to anyone that has been searching for the perfect primer for their creasing problems.
