POTW: Hoola Bronzer from Benefit Cosmetics
I have been searching high and low for a matte bronzer that looks good with my complexion. I’ve got a rather round face so I always wanna try to slim it down by contouring just under my cheekbones – and while a shimmery bronzer can give you a great sun-kissed glow, that doesn’t ever work for me. I’m already tan, so “sun-kissed” just makes me look like Snooki. Not cute. Anyway, I was intruduced to Hoola from the Benefit Cosmetics Boxed Powders Collection a while ago at Sephora, and now I can’t live without it. It’s great for building color, comes in a cute little box, and works great with my new 138 from MAC, that I just had to get after using Anisha’s while I was in San Francisco a few weeks ago. Not only is it matte, but it’s also a more neutral brown, so I can avoid looking like an oompa loompa and still get that great sculpted look I strive for.
Finally updated:
Here’s a picture so you can see the product on me. I’ve contoured directly under my cheekbones and along my jawbone here. Sometimes I even use it in my creases to contour my eyes!
