As nuts as it drives Chrissy, I cannot stop buying red-toned lipsticks. The moment I get to any makeup counter my hands are instantly swatching all the potential nudes and reds available. It’s an addiction, and I cannot stop. As such, I’ve naturally become inclined to a select few that never do me wrong. NARS’ […]

Of course my first post back after my month long hiatus would be a nail one! A few weeks ago, during The Makeup Show LA’s 2013 Blogger Preview, I was introduced to a new nail polish line — Cult Nails. They came highly recommended by everyone at the show and the talent backing these lacquers […]

I meant to post this earlier in the day, but it’s been a little hectic over here. This year, sadly, I didn’t have a date for Valentine’s Day – unless you count my sister and nephew. But, that didn’t stop me from creating this Vday FOTD! I mostly used my new L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows, which […]

No matter how many new eyeshadows I get, I still find myself gravitating towards my myface blingtones. So easily blendable, so perfectly sparkly. I'm definitely going to get more shades. I was somewhat inspired by Anisha's latest FOTD: Kiss Don't Tell, so I kind of wanted to do a smokey look too.

So, for my 26th birthday, I treated myself with a trip to Vegas, but at the last second I decided to extend my vacation and fly to San Francisco from Vegas to visit Anisha! I was so sick with a cold once I got there, but thankfully she keeps a small pharmacy in her apartment. Once I was feeling better I met up with Anisha at work and we went makeup shopping! I knew I definitely wanted to make a trip to INGLOT because I've never seen them outside of trade-shows like IMATS. The only place I know they have a counter is in the Macy's in San Francisco. I was able to purchase a five piece freedom system eyeshadow palette and a small angled brush for just $56! When we got back from the city, we started playing with our makeup. Anisha tried to film a tutorial for you all, but sadly her camera ran out of memory right in the middle of filming. Tragic! She ended up turning it into an FOTD which I hope she'll share with us sometime next week. I chose to create an FOTD with all the Inglot eyeshadows I bought.

With Christmas around the corner, I wanted to do a quick trial run of my Christmas dinner makeup. I knew I wanted something wearable and festive with a pop of red. I ended up keeping the eyes pretty subtle favoring shimmery, neutral shades and went all out on the lips. I ditched the traditional lip […]
