Colorful Gradient Liner
Hello, hello! I’m back with another FOTD featuring turquoise to navy blue gradient eyeliner. I wanted to do something different, bold, and yet wearable in honor of the gloomy weather we’ve been having in San Francisco. That, and I’ve been itching to justify my splurge on the MAC Colorization Duo I bought a while ago in Double Feature #3. The turquoise was so gorgeous and unique that I just couldn’t pass it up. How’s that for self-control?
In any case, I love this look because you can literally use any two complimentary eyeshadows. The trick to the liner in this look is to outline the entire wing with any light, cream eyeshadow base. Then, lay the main color on top of your outline, and layer your second color on the outside blending in.
If you guys are interested, I can definitely do a video tutorial on this. I swear, it’s a lot easier than it looks. I’d love for you guys to try it out and post what you come up with!

That's awesome. I might just try that with purple and black...

Did you put the base on your lower waterline too? Did that cause any issues later? I want to try this but my eyes are a little sensitive there.

I never put my base on my actual waterline. I used the Milani Liquif’eye Metallic Eyeliner in Aqua for the turquoise there. :)

Wait, how did you get the eyeshadow to stick to your waterline?

she used an eyeliner, so it's denser than eyeshadow i think.

Yepp. I used a pencil eyeliner for the waterline. Milani's Liquif'eye Metallic Eyeliner in Aqua. :)
