This look was inspired by MAC’s Guilty Passions Cremesheen lip glass, Kiss Don’t Tell. Chrissy was nice enough to pass it on to me when she was here visiting and it resulted in love upon first swatch. If ever there were a perfect nude lip gloss for WOC, this is it. It’s amazingly pigmented and the most perfect accompaniment to my favorite nude lipstick of the moment, Inglot’s Lip Pencil in 32.

The moment I paired these two together, I knew I had to create an equally fabulous look to go with it. I decided to pull from the reddish brown tones in the lipgloss and ended up with this warm brown/black smokey eye. It’s a bit more subtle in person than what’s shown in the picture, but still has the boldness of a classic smokey eye. I’ve since worn this look out 3 different times and love that it matched every single one of my outfits!
