Wet N Wild – On A Trip

I can’t believe I’m so late in raving about these, but I finally got my hands on Wet N Wild’s new Megalast nail polish collection. I fell totally and hopelessly in love with the electric purple shade, “On A Trip”, and had them on my fingers 10 minutes after the bottle was paid for.

I wasn’t expecting much in terms of pigmentation and stay power considering it was $2 a bottle, but it ended blowing a lot of my OPI nail polishes out of the water. I sported these for about a week and experienced 0 chip-age and extremely slight wearing at the end of my nails — pretty impressive considering I spent at least 10 hours a day in front of a computer, tapping away at my keyboard.

The only negative I really have is the applicator of these nail polishes. If you’re like me and have a hard time painting your dominant hand, the firmness of this brush is a god send. I made less mistakes using this brush than I ever have in my life. On the downside, the larger size and shape of the brush make it hard to really get into the sides of your nails so plant the brush carefully. Even with my best efforts, the perfectionist in me spent about 10 minutes scrubbing off unwanted nail polish.
